At 5:00 p.m. on September 23, 2026, the Torque-Limiting Division of Guangdong Zhongxing Hydraulic Transmission Co., Ltd. received an urgent repair request: a critical piece of equipment—a torque-limiting hydraulic coupling—operating at an environmental‑new‑materials company in Yunfu City had shut down. The customer was eager to resume operation and contacted our company to dispatch after-sales service personnel for assistance.

The business unit promptly completed the fault analysis and swiftly dispatched experienced after-sales technicians, equipping them with bearings, seals, fluid coupling spare parts, and specialized disassembly tools, before rushing overnight to the Yun’an operations site in Yunfu. Upon arrival, the after-sales team immediately conducted an on-site inspection, dismantled the fluid coupling for examination, and determined that the root cause of the failure was the use of transmission oil that did not meet specifications—this oil had a high impurity content and substandard lubrication performance. Over prolonged operation, this led to bearing lubrication failure, resulting in wear and damage, ultimately causing the coupling to shut down.

Once the repair plan was finalized, emergency repairs were swiftly carried out. Due to the limited workspace on site and the heavy weight of the hydraulic coupling itself, coupled with the complexity of the disassembly and reassembly procedures, the maintenance team rigorously adhered to the prescribed maintenance procedures, systematically performing tasks such as coupling removal, oil‑contaminant cleaning, and component inspection. They meticulously cleaned out degraded waste oil and residual contaminants from the interior of the housing.

After completing the cavity cleaning, the maintenance team replaced the bearing assembly with a brand‑new unit and proceeded to install the seals and other components, adhering rigorously to the prescribed assembly procedures. Each step of the assembly process was meticulously verified multiple times. Once assembly was finished, they filled the system with qualified hydraulic transmission fluid meeting the required specifications, conducted no‑load trial runs and operational‑condition adjustments, and monitored critical operating parameters such as vibration and temperature rise. The coupling was confirmed to operate smoothly, with all performance indicators within acceptable limits, allowing the equipment to resume service without incident—by which time it was already 4:00 a.m.

This emergency repair was completed efficiently across the entire process—from on-site disassembly and component replacement to final commissioning—quickly restoring the customer’s production line and preventing substantial economic losses associated with prolonged downtime. By doing so, we ensured the customer’s operations remained uninterrupted, and they expressed high satisfaction with our swift response and technically proficient service.
